About me

I am a PhD student at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg under the supervision of Thomas Kahle. My research interests lie in commutative algebra, computational algebra, and combinatorics, with a particular focus on monomial ideals, binomial ideals, free resolutions, and the computer algebra system Macaulay2.

Besides mathematics, I enjoy music (especially classical music) and I play the piano and the alto saxophone. I also like hiking, running, and skiing, and I enjoy reading books and going to the cinema.
